Its most famous dive is Es Faralló, nicknamed 'The Big Cheese': an islet riddled with tunnels, caves and holes full of life, in remarkably clear water. View all centersEs Faralló is a rocky islet off Cala Ratjada crossed by a network of tunnels, caves and holes, which earns it the nickname 'The Big Cheese'. It reaches around 30 metres deep and stands out for its very clear water and the fauna sheltering in its cavities.
The tunnels and caves of Es Faralló are recommended for certified divers with some experience. Beginners can do a try dive or a course at easier local sites before attempting dives that pass through cavities.
You will commonly see moray eels, octopuses, groupers, lobsters and seahorses among the rocks, plus shoals of fish in open areas. The cave structure concentrates a lot of life in a small space.
