We collect, among other things: browsing and platform usage data (pages visited, searches performed, interactions); technical data (IP address, device and browser type); and, where applicable, data you voluntarily provide when contacting a dive center or listing a center on the platform (name, email address, phone number).
We process your data to: let you search for and compare dive centers; facilitate contact between users and dive centers (for example, via WhatsApp or phone call); manage the listing of dive centers on the platform; analyze website usage for statistical purposes, when you have given your consent; and comply with our legal obligations.
The legal basis for processing your data is: performance of the contractual or pre-contractual relationship with the user or dive center; your consent, particularly for the use of analytics cookies; and Scubia's legitimate interest in improving and securing the platform.
Data will be kept for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and, where applicable, for the periods required by applicable law, including any time during which legal liabilities could arise.
Scubia does not sell your personal data. Your data may be shared with the dive centers you choose to contact, as well as with service providers acting as data processors (web hosting, cloud storage, analytics), with whom the corresponding data processing agreements have been signed.
Some of our technology providers may be located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, we ensure the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and portability by emailing privacy@scubia.app, indicating the right you wish to exercise and attaching a document proving your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe the processing of your data does not comply with applicable regulations.
Access to and use of Scubia is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
